GOD, A PUNISHER OF SINS OR………………….

What you believe is a matter of faith. So, do you believe in God? An almighty who wants you to pray, to obey. Who judges your actions and rewards you heaven or hell?
Well I beg to differ. I don’t say that I’m an atheist. But I don’t believe in a judging and rewarding God. I don’t believe that there is a heaven or hell waiting for us when we finish our journey here.
Contrary to ethics and religious beliefs established over the past millennia by preachers and books, which portray God as an entity to be feared and pleased, who can reward you with unending bliss for eternity, my feeling hold a different view. My question is, why were we given a free will if we were to be judged for every action? Why were we created if our actions were to be dictated at every step? I believe what we wish for ourselves is what God wishes for us.
This might look like a lame excuse to some who would claim that this is just an excuse to execute our own will…yet I would say, free will is to be able to take a decision not with fear for reprisal but with the confidence of coming across a new truth in life.
Well there are a lot of theories for creation of life, that eternal second when life burst open its wings in the universe.
God, so expansive in himself wanted a chance to experience himself to be able to look at himself to learn from his experiences, to be able to look at himself through someone else’s eyes, so I believe he created us, to experience himself through different forms, all part of his divine soul, his energy.
Well if you are thinking what I’m leading you to…I’ll say that I want to change that image of God that has been carved and chiseled in the minds of every young child in every religion of the world be it being a christen who believe in eternal damnation to hell if you don’t follow the bible, or the concept of nark in the Hindu mythology, or the jhannums for the Muslims.i want to show that we are not followers of God but a part of his divine being, an unseparatable part of that spiritual soul.
Every religion makes you fear God…I want you to know that God is not to be feared but experienced as a companion who always wants you to be free…. who acts as that inner voice which tells you what to believe and do, when you are in a dilemma.
How many times are you able to hear that voice in yourself that tells you what to do? That ethical voice which tells you right from wrong? What do you believe that is?
THAT IS THE ESSENCE OF GOD IN YOU…that friend of yours which you carry around but not listen to at times because you are shrouded with the affairs of the world. All I would like to say is…
LOVE NOT GOD AS A FEARED ENTITY BUT AS A FRIEND FOR LIFE…

A nice aspect to reflect upon and nicely put... an excellent article to be sent to the journalist column...
here are few things that struck me while reeading it....
actualy when you figure out why all the religions defined the boundaries between good and bad, we need to remember that they needed an impulse with which people could be shoved through, on the path of light....through a reward for good and punishment for sins... this hell-heaven concept was purely a human figment of thought... Another blow to the concept is that why would god keep his own children in the eternal pain of hell...so what I think is that regardless of whther god has demarcated these boundaries, these differences, the mere concept will act as incentive to move towards a virtuous life for billions of people around the globe.......
