Thank you for the tiny joys,
A pleasant hug,
A knowing smile,
The ring of bells,
The dewy sunlight.
The chime of china,
That laughter surprise.
That sleepy toddler,
That silent night.
The love of a man,
That care of a child.
The singing of a bird,
That swatter of flies.
The light blowing breeze,
That coffee of mine.
The waiting lift,
That green light.
The unknown treat,
Of not waiting in line.
That uneventful day,
That calm concise.
Those flickering candles,
That romantic night.
The love in the eyes,
Of my little canine.
That comfort of a blanket,
On a snowy night.
That touch of a hand,
Wiping your eyes.
That moment of light,
That unknown delight.
That answer to a dilemma,
Wrapped up in life.
For all there is in the world to see,
